This game helps you to understand the importance of political decisions and their consequences. You learn that you sometimes have to make decisions that are good for nature but not good for your reputation as a politician. On the other hand you sometimes have to do things to improve a certain value e.g. the food storage, that aren’t good for the environment. It’s very difficult to make decisions that are good for everyone and everything. In addition you can see how your decisions effect the CO2 emissions. You also get goals to reduce these emissions and you have to negotiate with presidents of other countries. This game was a lot of fun. From my point of view it helps you to understand what happens behind the curtains of politics. And you realize that not everything that’s good for the people is good for the environment.

This game is definitely addictive as you desire to stay president of the European Nations in order to make the best decisions for reducing carbon emissions over the next 100 years. It incorporates • Applying your existing knowledge about climate changing measures , continuously adding to it • Making policy decisions and incorporating public opinions • Negotiating on the global level • Feedback on your decisions (latest polls; Climate Times) The tutorial is short and can be skipped.
