Good and interesting product for teaching and learning.

I don´t think Mahjong can help any student by itself. However if this version uses math symbols anyhow, then maybe it´s worth a try. Thanks for the review Delia Alvarez from UGT course I

Mahjong is a fun game to train your mental math. Students will learn the rules of the game easily (if they don't know them already). It'a a very good alternative to the (often boring) training of mental math skills in school. (J.S. Austria)

The children can practice their calculation skills. They learn how to use the computer for learning and how to use the computer in general. The game is done nicely with flowers. It can be easily seen how many points you scored, how much time it took you and how many numbers are left to find. The user has to find out the rules of the game and has to find out the best strategy for him- or herself. Not so useful is that there are no different levels, so the children do not learn something new, which I guess is a great disadvantage. Therefore it might be soon too boring to play, at least for older children. Monika B. (Austria)

Mahjong maths divisions is a game that propably fits 5th graders. Be careful when you open the game, the pupils might click on playing the other game advertised. You might also need to install a flash player in order to be able to play the game. There are no levels to differenciate. The game is easy to understand and pupils will have fun playing it because they are rewarded by sounds and the visible vanishing of the cards they matched correct. What they can easily see and which is motivating is their progress regarding time and score. Mahjong can be used to train cognitive abilities and consolidate these. Petra N. (Austria)

To solve the game you have to match pairs by sum up numbers from 1-9. This game can be recommendet to students in the age from 7 to 99 to improve their skills in mental arithmetic and also fine motor skills. There´s a good introduction for the game added by hints to provide help if needed. An extra plus is given throughout backup sound effects flanked by a high score table to support the motivation level - a risk to drive "Gamers" into addiction. I did not like the advertisment troughout the website. K. N. (Austria)

This is a game for children who goes in a first class in a primary school. They have to find the right pairs of nummers. The children have to do mental math, so they could find the nummers, witch stay together. They click on the numbers, witch stay together and so the numbers disappear. This game could be developed for more different levels. This makes the game more interesting for the children. B.B-E. (Austria)

I think the game is very good to improve the mental math skills. Age group is I think 8 to twelve but also for people older than 70 it might be good to restore the mental math skills. I found the whole setting of the game very nice. M. H. (Austria)

This game is for the primary school, for the first year. That was not transparent at a look. It would be a support if you were able to find the different math levels for each grade of school. You forget to do mental maths because of the pleasure. Different levels would be nice and also in other languages, because of the understanding. M. S. (Austria)
