Description of Contents:

This is a quite complete course about electricity and electronics, very suited for students in secondary school, vocational training, and also as a basis for college students. Though it doesn't use any e-learning resource other than web pages, they are excellent and site navitagion is great. Plus, it links to electronic calculators widely used while studying

Hello. This website has been a discovering for me. I can use it in my classroom complemented with some other useful websites to simulate electronic circuits online like:http://www.falstad.com/circuit/index.html Jose Mascarell Xativa

teacher

Remark: The link of the picture in “Image of the product:” is not properly set. This is the only content about electronics I can understand, since it is the only site in English language: Structure: The site is clearly arranged in various topics of basic electronics. Each topic is explained in theory in a compact form, with drawings, circuits, formulas and calculated examples. The whole content is very accurate and in a didactically proper way. A plain course without tricky or sophisticated elements. I found every item I look up very quickly. Usage: I do not think, that this course is suitable for beginners, who try to learn these lessons by themselves. In my actual course I show my students these lessons when teaching a specific topic in my own lesson, to give them a ‘third knowledge-source’ (in addition to my lecture and the school-book). I give them some chunks of this site to prepare for the next lesson. At the end, I’ll compare their opinion and see, how they will judge this online course against the text-book. Thomas E. (Austria)
