The idea behind the creation of this Toolset is to allow one of the most important aspects of pen and paper Dungeons and Dragons to come to life on one’s computer : module building.

To create a world for the game Neverwinter Nights

The game Neverwinter Nights includes this Toolset which allows users to create their own content in the form of modules and environments for use in their own games.

The presence of this editor of modules with the game makes it possible to create its own parts, to conceive its scenarios and characters, its own worlds… thanks to a library of objects, monsters, sorts, textures, etc.
The modules solo created by the players can be downloaded on Internet (on the official site). They can thus be imported or exported, in car-compressible files, containing the places, the creatures, the scripts, items, etc conceived by the creator.
Another interesting aspects of the realization of modules is the use of scripts. It is indeed possible to program the action of different characters, monsters, elements of the environment,... of its own modules.
