From the pedagogical point of view, and expressly stated by its creators, the ultimate goal of this simulation is to provoke student reflection on the difficulties still faced by many families in the Third World. The social connotations of the game is also supplemented by the inclusion of basic economic principles, namely, scarcity, choice and opportunity cost.
